Press release relating to the conference of February 5 and 6, 2024 on international cooperation in the fight against money laundering organized by the Monegasque Institute of Training for Judicial Professions.
Following on from the recommendations of the MONEYVAL report, the Monegasque Institute for Training in Judicial Professions (IMFPJ) is organizing a new conference on February 5 and 6, 2024 devoted to “international cooperation in the fight against money laundering”.
This conference will take place under the successive presidency of the Secretary of State for Justice, then of the scientific director of the IMFPJ.
It will take place in the prestigious conference room of the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and will bring together a forum of high-level speakers, such as the financial public prosecutor, Mr. Jean-François Bohnert, the state prosecutor of Rio, Mr. Bruno Debreux, or the FBI investigator, Mr. Gregory Coleman, famous in the United States for having been in charge of the investigation which gave rise to the film “The Wolf of Wall Street”.
The Attorney General of Monaco, Mr. Stéphane Thibault, will also speak, alongside Mr. Sébastien Fetter, Eurojust liaison prosecutor for Switzerland, Mr. William Hippert, divisional commissioner, deputy director of criminal analysis at Interpol and by Ms. Marina Teller, professor at the University of Côte d’Azur. Also expected are Ms. Roberta Collida, liaison magistrate from Italy to France and the Principality of Monaco, and Mr. Abdheraman, judicial agent of the Kingdom of Morocco.
This conference is open to the public. Registrations can be made for two days, one day or half a day only. Requests must be sent by email to the following address: email@example.com before January 31, 2024 and the confirmation email must be presented at the entrance to the museum to access the conference room.
