The cellars can accommodate up to 50 people for a sit-down dinner.
While the Wine Cellars of the Hôtel de Paris are the largest of any hotel in the world in terms of sheer floor space (500,000 bottles over a floor area of 16,000 square ft.), they are also remarkable for the wine they hold (going by the names of Lafite, Petrus, Yquem, Romanée-Conti, Corton-Charlemagne, Pommard, Dom Pérignon, Christal Roederer or le Clos du Mesnil). Fun fact: The Cellars used to feature a hidden room! During WWII, the secret room stored 20,000 wine bottles, the hotel’s silverware and fortunes of some of the guests.
