Monaco Wealth Management is proud to be an official partner of the upcoming ENERGY SECURITY FOR THE FUTURE 2019, an international high-level energy event dedicated to advancing clean, secure, sustainable, and reliable energy sources held annually in Monte Carlo, Monaco.

Recognised as the most ambitious European project in its field, the Energy Security Forum 2019 will be convened at the Yacht Club de Monaco on 31 May 2019.

Founded in January 2016 by the President of the Burisma Group Nikolay Zlochevskyi, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation and Aleksander Kwasniewski’s Foundation Amicus Europae, the Forum calls for continued close cooperation between all stakeholders to facilitate a smooth transition to renewable energy sources and ensure energy self-reliance.

Each year, the Energy Security Forum brings together an impressive and increasing list of world leaders around the principal topic, among others, of non-polluting renewable energy. The event provides the latest updates on the formation of a single energy-safe market, development of innovative technologies and support for alternative energy.

Among the current speakers is HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco, and other highly influential leaders in attendance include presidents, prime ministers, senators and members of the parliament of various countries such as:

  • Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark (2001 – 2009), Secretary General, NATO (2009 – 2014)
  • Alfred Gusenbauer, Chancellor of Austria (2007 – 2008)
  • Alexander Kwasniewski, former President of Poland
  • Petar Stojanov, President of Bulgaria (1997 – 2002)
  • Andris Piebalgs, former European Commissioner for Energy

Many more will share their insights into energy security and sustainability, promoting innovation and inclusion. CLICK HERE>> for the initial speaker lineup.

Over the past years, the event has become the ultimate platform for global energy change pushing for a single energy-safe market, alternative energy and innovative technologies. This initiative by HSH Prince Albert II is a catalyst that is accelerating the move away from a dominant reliance on carbon-based fuels and the impact they have had on our climate and environment.

During the Energy Security Forum in 2018 (also partnered with Monaco Wealth Management), Sovereign Prince, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco reminded the attendees that it is our duty to abandon our current energy model and construct a new one before it is too late with an emphasis on renewable energies. The goal should focus on energies that are universally distributed, that are inexhaustible and which do not threaten the future of our planet. This is what the Principality of Monaco is achieving through a policy aimed at promoting renewable energies, clean mobility and energy efficiency.

Last year over 200 guests registered to attend the event, with a lot of representatives from European banks, especially private banks from Monaco, investment funds, private investors, HNWI’s, government bodies and technology providers among them.

“Awareness is building and the Principality of Monaco continues to be a global leader.” – says André C. Perry, CEO of Monaco Wealth Management
