It’s the late 19th century … An intrepid young aristocrat, Crown Prince Albert I of Monaco, dreams of only one thing – going to sea. It would only take him a few years to learn the craft of sailing and own his own small boat, L’Hirondelle.
Keen to make himself useful to the world, he soon decided to dedicate his time and his ship to oceanographic work. By revealing the secrets of the depths, he sought to better understand mankind.
