Monaco wonderkid Kevin Mbappe had the look of a man whose career is going from strength to strength as France trained ahead of their friendly with Spain on Sunday.
Didier Deschamps put the 18-year-old and his fellow team-mates through their paces in Clairefontaine ahead of the clash at the Stade de France.
And Mbappe, who is quickly becoming one of Europe’s most wanted players, was all smiles after making his international debut in the 3-1 win over Luxembourg on Saturday.
Two goals from Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud and a penalty from Antoine Griezmann saw France come out victorious in the World Cup qualifier before Mbappe entered the fray with 12 minutes to go.
The 18-year-old has enjoyed a stunning breakthrough campaign with Monaco, scoring 19 times in 32 appearances so far this term.
And he was rewarded for his fine form with a cameo that saw him become France’s youngest player in over 60 years.
Mbappe has been linked with a host of Premier League clubs but team-mate Fabinho believes Real Madrid or Barcelona will be where he ends up.
‘We know sooner or later that he will end up at Real Madrid,’ Fabinho told Chuteira FC.
‘Mbappe’s tremendous,’ he added. ‘For an 18-year-old, he has such maturity both on and off the pitch. He’s playing a decisive role and scoring lots of goals.’
