Spanish journalist Guillem Balague tweets personal terms have been decided between Blues and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko.
CHELSEA have agreed personal terms with Monaco star Tiemoue Bakayoko, according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague.
The France midfielder has been one of the most-impressive performers for the Ligue 1 leaders this season, and now appears set to be the first big name out of the door this summer.
Despite the success of Monaco, who reached the last eight of the Champions League a week ago by defeating Manchester City, they are set to lose a number of standout performers.
According to Sky Sports analyst Balague, the 22-year-old already looks set to be heading to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
However, Chelsea still need to do one more thing before the deal is completed.
Balague posted on Twitter: “Monaco’s Bakayoko has agreed personal terms with Chelsea.”
“Next step is for Chelsea to pay Monaco more than anybody else for the midfielder.”
Manchester United and City are also interested in Bakayoko.
But it appears the neighbours will have to move fast if they are to land the highly-rated youngster.
Bakayoko replaced Paul Pogba in the France squad this week.
So far this season, he has scored three times for Monaco and assisted one.
