Monaco gardens are taking part in the Gardens of the Côte d’Azur OFF Festival – many garden tours are planned.

The EVE Rose Garden, with a surface area of 4,000 m² (43,055 sq. ft.), is home to more than 5,500 rose bushes. It features 250 different varieties of roses, divided into eight types: large flowered-roses, climbing roses, weeping roses, miniature roses, standard roses, floribunda roses, botanic roses and polyantha.

The Rose Garden was inaugurated in 1984 by the Royal Family and is dedicated to the memory of Princess Grace of Monaco, in line with the wishes of Prince Rainier III.

The guided tour is organized by the Department of Urban Amenities. It’s an opportunity to become better acquainted with this iconic place in the Principality and its history, as well as the various types of roses and how to prune and cultivate them.
