In the hours that followed the Friday terror attack in Sweden’s capital city, Monaco’s Prince Albert II has reached out to King Carl Gustaf XVI and offered his condolences and support during the difficult time.
“It is with a deep emotion that I learnt of the attack on Stockholm’s shopping centre today,” writes the prince in an official letter to his fellow sovereign. “With the people of Monaco and my family, I bow before the memory of the victims, the grief of their families, the sufferings of the many wounded. Let me assure Your Majesty of our deep sympathy and our prayers for the victims and their families.”
The attack in the city centre of Stockholm has left four dead. 10 people remain in hospital, 4 of which are fighting for their lives.
