The women’s game will be in the spotlight at Saturday’s match against Nantes.
Ahead of the Women’s World Cup to be held in France next year, the French Football Federation is organised promotional initiatives across the country. Before the game and at half-time, a video clip will be shown on the big screens at the Louis-II.
The Ligue Méditerranée and the Côte d’Azur District have chosen Saturday’s match between AS Monaco and FC Nantes at the Stade Louis-II to put the women’s game in the spotlight, with several events planned.
All women players at the region’s clubs have been invited to attend this matchday 32 Ligue 1 fixture through their respective clubs. The flag carriers for the game, the Orange Half-Time Challenge between Monaco FF and Villeneuve-Loubet, and the young mascots who will be accompanying the players onto the pitch, are all girls and women from clubs in the region.
Don’t forget that the ticket for the Nantes game will also grant free admission to the ProA basketball game, which starts at the Louis-II at 19.00.
