The “Africa Eco Race” will take place from 31 December 2017 to 14 January 2018, departing from the Quai Antoine I.
The 10th Africa Eco Race will start at precisely 10 a.m. on 31 December 2017, departing from the Quai Antoine Ier – fifteen days devoted to a car rally that will test the participants’ endurance and navigational skills.
The contestants will cross Morocco, Mauritania and Senegal, arriving at the Lac Rose (Pink Lake) at the end of the race.
The route of this nomadic rally covers a total of 6,500 km (almost 4,040 miles), in total autonomy, with an emphasis on respecting the environment and the people encountered. As part of an increasingly responsible approach, various systems are being implemented, such as photovoltaic panels on the Check Point vehicles and tracking to regulate speeds in the villages that the rally will pass through.
